In September 2017 Scoil Phádraig was awarded DEIS status which has decreased class sizes and has ensured that extra funding and resources are provided to our school. These resources and our imminent planned extension will benefit all our learning community for years to come.

‘It’s not what we have in life but who we have in our life’ and our location in Mountmellick town sees us benefit hugely from the facilities of the town and the support of its people, organisations and businesses, as we try to shape the future. We are a diverse inclusive community and encourage the integration of all cultures and nationalities and our school reflects the growing developing town it serves. Scoil Phádraig Naofa has a long-standing educational tradition in Mountmellick. Today we continue that tradition by working together to support children to be well-rounded individuals and responsible citizens who make positive contributions to the communities in which they live, reflecting our school’s motto ‘Always give Of Your Best.’
