Scoil Phádraig Naofa are delighted to announce that we have just been granted the Active Schools Flag for the second time. Thanks to all the staff, pupils and Active Schools Flag Committee who participated in all the activities during the school year that helped us achieve this award. Among the activities that took place over the school year were the following:  Active Home Week, Christmas Dash, Easter Kind Words Hunt, Active Walkway, Active Challenges and many more. Keep an eye on our website for any further updates.

What is an Active School?

The Active School Flag (ASF) is awarded to schools that strive to achieve a physically educated and physically active school community. The process aims to get more schools, more active, more often.

At Scoil Phádraig, we are seeking to secure our Active School Flag over the next year. We are focusing on four themes to help us secure the ASF:

  • Physical Education
  • Physical Activities
  • Partnerships
  • Active Schools Week
We plan on keeping you updated on our progress in each of these areas, through the links on our website.
