School Vision

  • Children leaving our school are confident in themselves and their abilities, whatever they may be,   able to approach further education and life with confidence and a work   ethos ‘Always give of your Best!’
  • To imbue our pupils with the joy of learning
  • To deliver education that is child-friendly, progressive and relevant.
  • That our facilities and technology would be relevant to the 21st Century, despite economic constraints.
  • That a modern, spacious Sports Hall could be provided for Scoil Phádraig and our neighbouring school, Scoil Iosaf G.N.S.
  • That our school staff would continually be rewarded with job satisfaction and joy that is to be bound in imparting and interacting with young minds.
  • That our school ethos, values and philosophy will permeate all strands of school life.

Mission Statement

Education in Scoil Phádraig is seen as the development of the whole person.   We see education as providing for the emotional, social, physical and spiritual development of the child.   A holistic approach to education is taken where each child is seen as an individual with his own talents and capabilities.   The school will develop the positive aspect of each child and work on his capabilities and talents.   The potential of each child will be realised.   Each child will be encouraged ‘To Give Of Your Best’ in an environment which will be happy, safe, caring and stimulating.
